Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor in our manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the production floor. You will be responsible for ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textile manufacturing processes, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day production activities to meet production goals and customer demands.
  • Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency measures.
  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed established quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate production teams, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive and productive work environment. Train new employees and conduct ongoing training sessions for existing staff.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly and implement corrective actions.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to manage inventory levels effectively. Ensure accurate record-keeping of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication between production teams, management, and other departments. Provide regular updates on production progress and address any issues that may arise.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 4+ years in a supervisory role within a textile manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of textile production processes, machinery, and quality control.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
  • Proficient in using relevant software for production tracking and reporting.
  • Bilingual
  • Nigh shift - 6pm-6am
